Albanian champions Skenderbeu are now only 1 tie away from reaching the promised land of the Champions League after disposing of Romanian Champions Milsami Orhei.
In the “Champions Route” the biggest surprise was Rapid Wien beating Ajax in Amsterdam while Robin Van Persie won’t be playing Champions League Football this season as Fenerbahce lost 3-0 to Shakhtar in the 2nd leg. Monaco bested Young Boys over two legs comprehensively while CSKA Moscow got a late winner over Sparta Prague to advance to the next round.
