Leicester only with FC Rostov are the two competition debutants, Russian side Rostov surprised everyone with a very impressive 4-1 win over Ajax last night and they take their spot as the lowest ranked team in Pot 4. Tottenham could face a group of death draw along the lines of Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Monaco., Mauricio Pochettino will be really hoping that isn’t the case.
Don’t forget their country protection at this stage of the competition so we won’t see the scenario where Arsenal and Tottenham are in the same group, that would only be a prospect if both sides reached the Quarter Finals.
Celtic make their long overdue return to the competition and will now be hoping to mix it with some of Europe’s giants and once again create history at Celtic Park. They like Tottenham could also face a group of death scenario so Brendan Rodgers will be hoping the draw is favourable.
Only a few hours until the draw, if your side is in it then best of luck and I hope you get a good one (except Arsenal)
