Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace – Match Preview

Bournemouth pair Junior Stanislas and Josh King will miss Saturday’s game because of hamstring injuries.

Lee Tomlin has been nursing groin and pelvis injuries but could be fit.

Alan Pardew says Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye is 50-50 but skipper Mile Jedinak is fit to return.

Dwight Gayle and Bakary Sako are definitely out, while Pardew also has other “additional injuries” that he wants to keep private while the players are assessed.

Editor’s Note: Bournemouth are currently riding the crest of a wave as 3 wins in a row has seen them create some breathing space between them and the bottom 3. Remarkable wins over Chelsea and Manchester United plus a battling effort over West Brom last Weekend has seen them move to the heady heights of 14th.

Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side are looking more like an established Premier League side with every week that passes and today play host to a Crystal Palace who are flying in 6th place.

The Eagles are on the same points as Tottenham in 4th and if this form continues must be looking at European Football as a definite prospect next season. Their stunning late winner away at Stoke last weekend saw them only be bested by Spurs and Manchester United by goal difference and will be looking for another win today to heap the pressure on the two teams above them.

Crystal Palace seem to be better on the road then they are away this season and in a clash between two English Managers I think it will be wiley Alan Pardew who managers to get the better of the younger Eddie Howe today. Bournemouth’s run to end while Palace could if results go there way be 4th by the end of the day. Palace win for me
