Real Madrid got their second win of the International Champions Cup and consigned German champions Bayern to a second straight defeat. There wasn’t much in the game as it took a late Danilo goal to break the deadlock but the win will set Real in good stead for their European Supercup encounter with Sevilla next Tuesday.
As for Bayern they now prepare for another season of Bundesliga domination as Carlo Ancelotti looks to pick up from where Pep Guardiola left off.
