It seems as if Barcelona have been fully awoken from their slump as they have scored an astonishing 14 goals in the last two matches. After hitting Deportivo for 8 in Midweek they followed it up with a crushing 6-0 win over Sporting Gijon on Saturday.
More importantly that win keeps them top of La Liga by virtue of their head to head record over Atletico Madrid. There’s only 3 games to go now and Barcelona can’t afford to drop any more points if they are to defend their La Liga crown. But that said it’s seems as if they are finding their form again at just the right time.
