Barcelona vs Celta Vigo in less than 3 minutes

Barcelona stay top of La Liga after a stunning performance at the Nou Camp on Saturday night. They carried out a devastating 5-0 win over Celta Vigo, a win that not only keeps them a point clear over arch rivals Real Madrid but also manages to exact revenge for the shock 4-3 defeat they suffered earlier in the season.

With Luis Enrique announcing his departure from the club at the end of the season the question will be who will succeed him in the Nou Camp hotseat but another question will be whether or not Enrique can leave on a high note after earning a third successive league title. The advantage still lies with Real Madrid as they have a game in hand but Barcelona are looking back to their brilliant best.

Celta felt the full force of it on Saturday as Barcelona carried out a 5 star performance in front of their own fans. Lionel Messi opened the scoring on 24 minutes after going on a frankly stupendous run and Brazilian star Neymar would double Barcelona’s advantage 5 minutes before half time when he dinked neatly into the net.

Before the hour it would be three as Croatian international Ivan Rakitic found the net to all but secure the points and just after the hour it was 4-0 as former Lyon defender Samuel Umtiti got himself on the scoresheet and there was still more than enough for Lionel Messi to make it 5-0 and complete the rout.

Now with PSG at home in the Champions League Round Of 16 on Wednesday that scoreline would see them overturn the 4-0 first leg defeat in Paris. But PSG will no doubt prove to be sterner opposition, that said strangers things have happened so don’t be surprised if they do the unthinkable.

Here is all you need to know from Saturday
