2019/20 Premier League Predictions – Week 6
The Premier League is back on the horizon and with Friday night football just around the corner, it means I’m either running late or cutting it fine. Whatever the viewpoint, fear not, as now is the time to serve up my latest round of predictions.
Which in fairness when you consider last weekend’s paltry offering of three out of ten, is relegation form and it now means that I’m at 20 out of 50 for the season – which for all you maths fans is just 40% in terms of a strike rate, if this gets any lower, I wouldn’t even back to myself.
Then again that’s what happens when you go with gut instinct and to be honest, I might just be able to rectify with something that I’ve been working on over the past few weeks – more on that in due course, but here is what I think will happen over the course of the next few days.
Friday
Southampton vs Bournemouth – Draw
Saturday
Leicester vs Tottenham – Draw
Manchester City vs Watford – Manchester City Win
Burnley vs Norwich – Burnley Win
Everton vs Sheffield United – Everton Win
Newcastle vs Brighton – Newcastle Win
Sunday
West Ham vs Manchester United – Manchester United Win
Crystal Palace vs Wolves – Draw
Arsenal vs Aston Villa – Arsenal Win
Chelsea vs Liverpool – Draw
That’s what I think will happen this weekend, more importantly what do you think will be the outcomes. If you are brave enough to leave your opinions, then feel free to let me know in the comments below. Hopefully I can build on the solid benchmark of last week, time will tell if that proves to be the case.
Also in terms of BTTS (Both teams to score) – 60% of all games have ended with each team breaching the opposition’s net, so as things stand picking any combination should prove a lot easier for this week.
