We can all rejoice at the fact that the international break is almost at an end and with that it means the return to Premier League action and by extension it also means another raft of predictions. Before the hiatus I turned in another below average four out of ten and like Ronald Koeman I’m struggling to live up to expectations. But without further ado here is my offering for this extended weekend.
Liverpool vs Manchester United – Manchester United Win
Burnley vs West Ham – Burnley Win
Crystal Palace vs Chelsea – Chelsea Win
Manchester City vs Stoke – Manchester City Win
Swansea vs Huddersfield – Draw
Tottenham vs Bournemouth – Tottenham Win
Watford vs Arsenal – Arsenal Win
Brighton vs Everton – Draw
Southampton vs Newcastle – Newcastle Win
Leicester vs West Brom – Leicester Win
Of course the biggest clash of the week is at Anfield as Liverpool and Manchester United go head to head. The pressure is on Jurgen Klopp to deliver as his side currently sit 7th in the Premier League table. Can they be the first team to hand out a defeat to Jose Mourinho’s men this season.
Tottenham will be looking for their first Wembley win in the Premier League as they play host to Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon. Their away form has been perfect but it is their home form which has been the issue for Mauricio Pochettino’s players.
While Crystal Palace will be looking to get themselves off the mark this weekend in terms of points and goals. That said they do play host to defending champions Chelsea. It seems as if it never rains but it pours for Roy Hodgson right now.
These are my predictions what do you think will happen over the course of the weekend. Leave your thoughts in the comments below. As always best of luck if you do follow these tips. Place your bets now.
