After making my Premier League predictions for Week 2 (I didn’t have the time to make any for Week 1, which is a bit stupid but never mind) it’s now time to review how successful I was. Was there the potential for some bookie bashing or was it more Mark Lawrenson level of predictions…
Friday:
Aston Villa vs Manchester United – Manchester United Win YES
Saturday:
Southampton vs Everton – Southampton Win NO
Sunderland vs Norwich – Draw NO
Swansea vs Newcastle – Swansea Win YES
Tottenham vs Stoke – Draw YES
Watford vs West Brom – Watford Win NO
West Ham vs Leicester – Leicester Win YES
Sunday:
Crystal Palace vs Arsenal – Arsenal Win YES
Manchester City vs Chelsea – Draw NO
Monday:
Liverpool vs Bournemouth – Liverpool Win YES
So there you have it 6 out of 10 this week, a starting prediction percentage of 60%. Managed to get the Spurs v Stoke correct but as a Spurs fan that’s very little comfort in all honesty. Therefore not a clean sweep but not too bad of an effort either, if you followed some of these combinations then there could have been a return but the sample is too short to really see how good the predictions are. Therefore I will carry it on all season and see what prediction percentage I can get come May.
Therefore in summary Week 2 – 6/10 – Overall tipping percentage 60%
