- So that elusive first win for Remi Garde still eludes him
- Surely this was a game they were meant to win
- The first 45 minutes they looked comfortable and there was no reason to suggest why they wouldn’t go on and complete the job in the second half
- Although Micah Richards scored, why does he always think of himself as better than his team mates
- Bawling out at the rest of his Defence when he was at fault for a Wycombe half chance just sort of sums him up
- The game turned on Two Penalty decisions. One not in favour of Villa the other in favour of Wycombe
- Richards should have had a spot kick awarded but you have to ask whether Michael Oliver saw it
- He certainly saw Wycombe’s one and had no hesitation giving the decision
- Wycombe looked a much better side straight from the restart and were duly level after 49 Minutes
- Then the confidence seemed to sap from Villa as if they didn’t have the determination to get back in front
- They had a late flourish to their credit which saw Rudy Gestede hit the top of the bar
- But it’s now 10 games with no win since Remi Garde took over from Tim Sherwood
- A plucky draw for the minnows although I think Wycombe might be upset with having to go to a replay.
