If like me you are itching for some relatively competitive fixtures to watch in July then the Champions League Qualifiers reached an important stage last night with it being the Third Qualifying Round last night (with also some fixtures to take place Tonight as well).
Some clubs only have one more hurdle to overcome as they will progress through the “Champions Route” whereas for some clubs who go through the “League Roue” they will have two rounds to progress through before getting to the Champions League proper.
Two of the clubs who started their Champions League campaign last night were Young Boys and Monaco. I actually watched this game in full (in German) because I was that bored last night. If you have a social life and didn’t see the game, here is all you need to know:
