West Brom vs Tottenham – Match Preview

West Brom will be without midfielder Claudio Yacob, who is serving a one-match suspension, but defender Chris Brunt is available after a ban.

Head coach Tony Pulis says one or two unnamed players have niggles which need to be assessed ahead of the match.

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli will return to the side after missing the draw with Chelsea through suspension.

However, fellow midfielder Ryan Mason has been ruled out for around two weeks after sustaining an ankle injury.

Editor’s Note: Tottenham are now a record 13 games unbeaten in the Premier League and now they have that record will look to now kick on and move into one of the Top 4 places.

Last Sunday they played out a stalemate at home to Chelsea and admittedly did look a bit leggy in the second half after their Europa League exploits in Azerbaijan.

They visit The Hawthorns tomorrow the home of Summer transfer target Saido Berahino, what price he pops up and gets a goal?

Spurs lacked the energy of Dele Alli last Sunday but he returns from suspension and will replace Ryan Mason who came off injured in the game against Chelsea.

For all their unbeaten record this Tottenham side are going to have to turn draws into wins if they have any hope of getting a Champions League place especially now Liverpool are finding their feet under Jurgen Klopp and a win at West Brom would be a perfect way to stay in the hunt.

They go up against a West Brom side who came from behind to get a share of the points at Upton Park last Sunday but have only won 1 out of their last 4. Tottenham should have enough to win tomorrow especially with Harry Kane scoring 9 in his last 7 matches. Maybe a bit of bias but a Tottenham away win for me
