Real Football Men – Fantasy Football Roundup Gameweek 20

We’ve now moved into the second half of the season with a league that is one team lighter after the dramatic mid season relegation to Simon Vignil during Gameweek 19. With 34 teams left in the running to win the second running of the Real Football Men FPL competition lets now take a look at what happened in Gameweek 20.

Once again my good friend Andy Miller sits at the top of the tree, his lead has been slightly eroded but at 21 points he still has a comfortable buffer over Ologo Popo in second place. The top four are all unchanged as David McDonagh and Ray McDermott round out the Champions League spots.

Early pace setter Kwame Twumasi moves back up to 5th place as he leapfrogs Andrew Sinclair in 6th. It was a good week for both Dennis Kioko and Harrison Narh who moved to 7th and 8th respectively but the same can’t be said for Josh Abayeteye and Malaysio Junior who close out the top 10.

Fifi McDowell had an excellent week as her top score of 77 points sees her move up to 13th place while may stuttering climb up the table comes to a halt as I’m a non mover in 15th place. @THEWWFPL is now 22nd after being leapfrogged by Will Harwood who sits just outside the top 20.

With their no longer the threat of mid season relegation the managers at the foot of the table can relax and it seems exactly as if that is what Bruno B is doing. He now takes up possession of the wooden spoon as he registers a second consecutive lowest score in a row. Because of that he is overtaken by Lasse Ehrer who survived the drop by just two points.

With the F.A. Cup action (yawn) there means there is no FPL action this week so there is a week off from the roundups so the next one will follow in roughly a fortnight or so. Until then.

Highest Score – Fifi McDowell 77

Lowest Score – Bruno B 30
