Real Football Men – Fantasy Football Roundup Gameweek 11

We have now reached the second international break of the season and as unfortunate as that may be it means it is time for another Real Football Men FPL Roundup. With the enforced hiatus upon us there is no change at the top of the table as Kwame Twumasi refuses to relinquish his grip but his leading margin has been cut to just 5 points.

With Kwame registering 603 points he is being tracked by last season’s winner David McDonagh who is now on 598 after moving up to second place this week. That meant that my good friend Andy Miller slips to third but that said he is only 8 points off of Kwame so it really is all to play for.

It was also a good week for Addicted Azhar as he moves into 4th place at the expense of Dennis Kioko but there is little to split these two as they are both on 591 points going into the break. Josh Abateye had a decent week and finds himself 6th but Ray McDermott had an even better one as his high score of 81 points sees him rise to 7th.

And it was green arrows all round to close out the top ten as Ologo Popo, Gary Mantle and M Fariz Nirwansyah fly up the table as they hold 8th to 10th places respectively. My charge up the table is slowly but surely getting there as I now sit 16th.

It could be worse though as you could be @THEWWFPL who has sunk to 28th place, will he get dragged into the relegation battle with just 8 weeks to go until someone beats the drop.

The big question though is who will go down but the even bigger news is that we have a new name at the foot of the table. Andy Harrison will have to be careful as he can’t afford too many week low scores of 19 points, that week to forget sees him drop to 31st

But Stuart Robertson is timing his bid for survival at just the right time as he now moves up to the heady heights of 34th. He now has a point 4 gap over Matt Dickinson who has to make do with the wooden spoon but with such a tight gap there are certainly going to be more twists and turns within the next few weeks. I’ll be back in a fortnight with my Week 12 Roundup, until then.

Highest Score – Ray McDermott 81

Lowest Score – Andy Harrison 19
