Real Football Cast – Season 2 Episode 29
The latest edition of the Real Football Cast is live and although there was a slightly larger fixture programme last weekend, there was perhaps a more pertinent off-pitch matter to be discussed and it is one that comes from the Etihad.
Manchester City’s game against West Ham may have been delayed until Wednesday night, but it is fair to say that they were making headlines last Friday, as UEFA dealt them a highly severe ban for breach of Financial Fair Play rules.
Of course, there will still be a lengthy appeal process before any final rulings are handed out and although that will undoubtedly be a few months down the line, it doesn’t mean that Dan doesn’t have plenty of questions for Karl and Drew.
In addition to that, there was plenty of one field drama, as not only has the race for fourth now become the race for the fifth, but with Manchester United getting the better of Chelsea, it means it really is up for grabs.
Couple with that with the fact that Tottenham have closed the gap to Chelsea to just one pointa and with the two teams squaring off this Saturday, that is going to be an almighty clash at Stamford Bridge in the race of for a Champions League.
While of course, we cannot forget that Liverpool have now gone an incredible 43 games unbeaten in the Premier League.
