Premier League Predictions – Week 34 (Review)

It seemed as if it was to be the never ending gameweek what with stretching from Saturday all the way to Thursday but thankfully it has come to a close and that means it is now time to review my Premier League Predictions.

Saturday

Bournemouth vs Middlesbrough – Bournemouth Win YES

Hull vs Watford – Hull Win YES

Swansea vs Stoke – Draw NO

West Ham vs Everton – Everton Win NO

Sunday

Burnley vs Manchester United – Manchester United Win YES

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace – Liverpool Win NO

Tuesday

Chelsea vs Southampton – Chelsea Win YES

Wednesday

Arsenal vs Leicester – Arsenal Win YES

Middlesbrough vs Sunderland – Draw NO

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham – Tottenham Win YES

Thursday

Manchester City vs Manchester United – Manchester City Win NO

From the 11 matches I managed to get just 6 right which is probably one less than I needed to be if I’m going to hit the 55% target of correct predicitions over the course of the season. That return leaves me with a strike rate of 177 out of 330 which for all you maths fans is 53.6%. Basically the target is 209 correct predictions which means I have to get 32 out of the next 50 correct if I am going to hit the target. I really do have my work cut out as that means I’m going to have to start turning in returns of 6 or 7 out of 10 between now and the end of the season.

Like Sunderland and their relegation issues it is not mathematically impossible just yet but it is looking less than likely – I certainly am going to have to think long and hard over the final few weeks as my reputation is at stake (I wouldn’t say my livelihood – it’s not THAT important) But like any good or bad tipster I’m ready to go again and the Week 35 predictions are just around the corner. Until then.
