Premier League Predictions – Week 32 (Review)

Another extended weekend of Premier League action is in the history books and it has not made good reading for Arsenal fans as their hopes of finishing in the Champions League places have been left in tatters. You could clarify it as a coupon buster but with the form they have had as of late and the decent spell of results that Crystal Palace have had it is perhaps not the biggest surprise either. I certainly got that wrong but lets take a look as to how I fared over the past three days in regards to my Premier League Predictions.

Saturday

Tottenham vs Watford – Tottenham Win YES

Manchester City vs Hull – Manchester City Win YES

Middlesbrough vs Burnley – Draw YES

Stoke vs Liverpool – Draw NO

West Brom vs Southampton – West Brom Win NO

West Ham vs Swansea – Draw NO

Bournemouth vs Chelsea – Chelsea Win YES

Sunday

Sunderland vs Manchester United – Manchester United Win YES

Everton vs Leicester – Everton Win YES

Monday

Crystal Palace vs Arsenal – Arsenal Win NO

A few slip ups there means that once again I am weighing in with a mid table 6 out of 10. That seems to be the norm with my predictions as of late and that ultimately means that my strike rate for the season is at 167 out of 309. That being 54.0% in percentage terms, just 1% away from my revised 55% target and a jump up of 0.3% since last week. As long as I can get 60% of the picks correct between now and the end of the season then I’ll be on course for a decent enough finish. I would have put 6 out of 10 each week but we are now getting to the point where teams will catch up on their games in hand, therefore the predictions will be coming thick and fast.
