There are just 8 weeks of the Premier League season left to go and we really are in the final straight of a title race that has perhaps been given a lease of life after Chelsea’s defeat to Crystal Palace. It may have cut the gap at the top to just seven points but it was undoubtedly a coupon buster this weekend and it was not the only one either. So without further ado lets now take a look at my Premier League Predictions from last weekend
Liverpool vs Everton – Liverpool Win YES
Burnley vs Tottenham – Tottenham Win YES
Chelsea vs Crystal Palace – Chelsea Win NO
Hull vs West Ham – Hull Win YES
Leicester vs Stoke – Leicester Win YES
Manchester United vs West Brom – Manchester United Win NO
Watford vs Sunderland – Draw NO
Southampton vs Bournemouth – Draw YES
Arsenal vs Manchester City – Manchester City Win NO
Swansea vs Middlesbrough – Swansea Win NO
A couple of coupon busters with Chelsea and Manchester United both slipping up while Sunday was undoubtedly a day to forget as neither of my picks were succesful. This meant it was a mid table 5 out of 10, which means the strike rate is now at 155 out of 289 giving us a figure of 53.6%, that is down 0.1% from Week 29 as we slip away from the 55% marker which is now the end of season target.
But thankfully there is another full Premier League programme this midweek so there is a quick opportunity to try and turn that around and get back to “winning ways” – these tips will follow tomorrow morning for the Tuesday and Wednesday matches, we’re getting to that point of the season where it’s pretty much non stop. Hold onto your hats as we are very nearly at the business end of the season. Keep an eye out for the Week 31 predictions tomorrow.
