I think it’s fair to say that the weekends action was very much a coupon buster with the majority of fans betting action being over before the 3pm kick offs had even begun. Add into the mix Manchester United’s failure to win at Stoke and it doesn’t make for particular good reading. So with that in mind, let’s not wait any longer as I review what happened over the last couple of days.
Saturday
Liverpool vs Swansea – Liverpool Win NO
Bournemouth vs Watford – Bournemouth Win NO
Crystal Palace vs Everton – Everton Win YES
Middlesbrough vs West Ham – West Ham Win YES
Stoke vs Manchester United – Manchester United Win NO
West Brom vs Sunderland – West Brom Win YES
Manchester City vs Tottenham – Draw YES
Sunday
Southampton vs Leicester – Draw NO
Arsenal vs Burnley – Arsenal Win YES
Chelsea vs Hull – Chelsea Win YES
So even with the two surprise results, I still managed to get 6 out of 10 correct so not all bad. Think it is as being in the upper mid table and just outside the European places. That means I have a total of 117 out of 220 when it comes to correct picks and my strike rate is 53.2% – the realistic target for the end of the season would be 60% so best start picking up the pace between now and May.
There’s no picks this week because of the F.A. Cup (yawn) so I will return on Thursday week with my offering for Week 23. Until then.
