Roll up, roll up get yourself a Premier League bargain. The governing body of the English top flight have announced the long list of players that are available on a free transfer. Without doubt the name heading that list is none of other than Zlatan Ibrahimovic after his departure from Manchester United.
But who else can you get on a free? Well of course there is Mr Chelsea himself John Terry, although with his departure from West London he now looks set to become Mr Bournemouth with Eddie Howe favourite to land the former England captain.
Manchester City are shedding talent with Willy Caballero, Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy, Jesus Navas and Pablo Zabaleta all exiting The Eithad with the latter already set to move to West Ham this summer.
Liverpool have shaved off some fringe players from their first team squad while the evergreen Austrian goalkeeper Alex Manninger departs Merseyside after signing a short term contract. Tottenham say goodbye to one player, that being Filip Lesniak who set up on of Harry Kane’s goals in the 6-1 mauling of Leicester last month.
Sunderland have said goodbye to all manner of names as they prepare for life in the Championship while the same can be said for Middlesbrough and Hull.
While obviously we cannot finish the article without mentioning the fact that Arsenal legend Yaya Sonogo has left the club.
Here is the very long list below, feel free to make your free transfer XI and write them in the comments below
