Manchester City vs Hull – Match Preview

Manchester City playmaker David Silva could make his first start in nearly two months in the League Cup quarter-final against Hull.

Manuel Pellegrini brought him on against Southampton and is not due to make any major changes from that side, with keeper Joe Hart still injured.

Hull have defender Andy Robertson back after a one-match ban but Michael Dawson (hamstring) remains absent.

Winger Robert Snodgrass could make his first appearance of the season.

Editor’s Note: Sergio Aguero was bought off as a precautionary measure on Saturday therefore I would be surprised if he was risked tonight for the visit of Hull. Manchester City were tested on Saturday against Southampton but I can’t see there being too many problems this evening.

Hull sit 3 points off the top of The Championship and will be looking at a distraction from league activity after losing at home to Derby County on Friday Night. Unfortunately for them I can’t see them getting any joy at the The Etihad and with City’s attacking talent and the possible return of David Silva it will be nothing else than a Manchester City win.
