Lincoln victorious in Champions League Qualifier

No not Lincoln City but Lincoln Red Imps of Gibraltar (apologies for the BBC Sport style clickbait there) they managed to come from behind and secure a 2-1 win over Andorran “Giants” FC Santa Coloma, this victory means they will now face Midtjylland of Denmark in what will surely be their biggest every game to date.

In terms of British interest there was double success for the two clubs in action. Crusaders of Northern Ireland managed to get a 1-1 draw away at Levadia Talinn of Estonia which was enough to seem through on away goals while The New Saints of the Welsh Premier League emphatically beat B36 Torshavn of the Faeroe Islands 4-1 to add to their 2-1 victory in the reserve.

Crusaders will now face Skenderbeu of Albania (yep never heard of them either) while The New Saints will take on Videoton of Hungary of the next round of the Champions League Qualifiers

In the other match Pyunik of Armeina beat Folgore of San Marino 2-1 to go through 4-2 on aggregate. Below are the full results and aggregate scores.
