Croatia have named their by provisional 27 man squad with the biggest news to come from out of that is the omission of Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren.
The reason for the omission is due to the fact that Lovren had a disagreement with Croatia Manager Ante Cacic as to whether he would be guaranteed a place in Croatia’s starting Eleven. Not only did he not get a guarantee he now hasn’t even made the final 27 names
Apart from that there’s no real surprises with La Liga stars Luka Modric and Ivan Rakitic making the selection and Mario Mandzukic being selected as one of the forwards.
There is very little Premier League representation with only Leicester’s Andrej Kramaric being selected but not forgetting the fact he has been playing his trade in the Bundesliga as of late. Below is the full 27 man squad
Goalkeepers: Danijel Subasic (Monaco), Lovre Kalinic (Hajduk Split), Ivan Vargic (Rijeka), Dominik Livakovic (NK Zagreb)
