Holders Chile finally opened their Copa America account with a win over Bolivia in the early hours of the morning. After losing their opening game to Argentina in a repeat of last Summer’s final

And the have Arturo Vidal for that. After a goalless first half, he scored straight after the break to give Chile the lead but the holders were soon pegged back by Jhasmani Campos’ equaliser

It looked like it was going to be a frustrating night for the holders, even with an extraordinary amount of added time played in the second half but then Chile got a massive stroke of luck when they were awarded a Penalty in the 10th minute of added time

The Bayern Munich midfielder Vidal stepped up to give Chile an unlikely win and put Chile 2nd in the group ahead of Panama who they meet in the final group game in a battle to see who will snatch that final qualification place from the group
