Bournemouth vs Everton – Match Preview

Bournemouth will assess goalkeeper Artur Boruc, who missed last weekend’s draw at Swansea with injury.

Tommy Elphick, Callum Wilson, Tyrone Mings and Max Gradel are long-term absentees.

Fit-again full-back Leighton Baines could be included in Everton’s matchday squad for the first time this season.

Midfielder Muhamed Besic has also recovered from injury and may be involved, but Steven Pienaar, Bryan Oviedo and Tony Hibbert remain out.

Editor’s Note: Bournemouth’s respectable start to the season is a distant memory now as they have now gone 7 games without a win, it’s no coincidence that this run has coincided with the long term injury to Callum Wilson as The Cherries have struggled to find goals in his absence.

Another concern will be at the back and the fact they are giving away too many goals at the other end. Eddie Howe will definitely feel that it was 2 points dropped last Weekend away to Swansea as they gave away a 2-0 lead. But they are going to face a sterner test this week in the shape of Everton.

This is an Everton side who have scored 11 goals in their last 3 matches and now sit 7th in the Premier League. Romelu Lukaku scored 2 last weekend as they thumped Aston Villa and there’s no reason why he can’t repeat that feat Tomorrow at The Vitality Stadium.

Everton are doing a good job of rolling over the sides in the bottom half of the table and I think it will be exactly the case tomorrow, if Slyvian Distin plays against his old club I don’t think it’s going to be a fun afternoon for him. All 3 points for Everton tomorrow.
