Barcelona vs Deportivo in less than 3 minutes

Once again it was a routine win for Barcelona yesterday but it was a result that still sees them lie 4th in the La Liga table after all the three teams above them also managed to record victories yesterday

The big plus point though for Luis Enrique would have been the return from injury of Lionel Messi, not only that but he managed to find the net after his lengthy layoff.

The game was wrapped up by half time as Rafinha registered a brace and Luis Suarez made it three just before the break, the afternoon got more miserable for Deportivo as they were reduced to 10 men after 65 minutes when Laure was sent off for an elbow on Neymar in the second half.

Then the mercurial Messi got his goal and it was job done for the Catalan giants. The table may not look for impressive reading at present but lets not forget they are only two points off the top with still 30 matches left to play there is still plenty of time to make ground on the three teams above

Here is all you need to know from yesterday afternoon
