2019/20 Premier League Predictions – Week 2
It’s that time of the week again and one where I offer up my latest Premier League predictions and although they will be with you in a minute, first I need to take stock of how I performed during the opening weekend.
The outcome was that I got 6 out of 10 and it won’t take the biggest of maths fans to know that is a 60% hit rate, which in fairness unless you are rainman, that’s about par for any given week.
Now if I was to end the season with that strike rate, that wouldn’t be too bad but before we get far far ahead of ourselves, here is what I think will happen over the course of this extended weekend of top flight football.
Saturday
Arsenal vs Burnley – Arsenal Win
Aston Villa vs Bournemouth – Aston Villa Win
Brighton vs West Ham – Brighton Win
Everton vs Watford – Everton Win
Norwich vs Newcastle – Draw
Southampton vs Liverpool – Liverpool Win
Manchester City vs Tottenham – Manchester City Win
Sunday
Sheffield United vs Crystal Palace – Draw
Chelsea vs Leicester – Chelsea Win
Monday
Wolves vs Manchester United – Manchester United Win
Also if you are looking at some goals, then these four matches could be for you consideration in terms of both teams to score:
- Brighton vs West Ham – 57.63% and you can back this at 8/11
- Chelsea vs Leicester – 55.79% and you can back this at 4/5
- Manchester City vs Tottenham – 57.89% and you can back this at 8/11
- Southampton vs Liverpool – 51.58% and you can back this at 4/5
That’s what I think will happen this weekend, more importantly what do you think will be the outcomes. If you are brave enough to leave your opinions, then feel free to let me know in the comments below. Hopefully I can build on the solid benchmark of last week, time will tell if that proves to be the case.
