2019/20 Premier League Predictions – Week 1

And we’re back, after more than two months of down time the Premier League returns – admittedly it returned last night but you get the idea. Now in days gone by, this website used to offer as many match previews as simply possible and as much as I would love that to be the case, I just don’t have the time.

However, I do have the time to offer up my predictions for each week and what good a place as any to start than at Week 1, so in association with the sponsors of my podcast, here is what I am offering up to you this week:

Friday

Liverpool vs Norwich – Liverpool Win (now full disclosure here, I run out of time to do the article yesterday and who likes Friday night football anyway? So I would have marked this down as a Liverpool win and anyone else who thinks otherwise is an idiot)

Saturday

West Ham vs Manchester City – Manchester City Win

Bournemouth vs Sheffield United – Bournemouth Win (although I would also tip this as BTTS)

Burnley vs Southampton – Draw

Crystal Palace vs Everton – Draw

Watford vs Brighton – Watford Win

Tottenham vs Aston Villa – Tottenham Win

Sunday

Leicester vs Wolves – Leicester Win (BTTS tip)

Newcastle vs Arsenal – Arsenal Win (BTTS tip)

Manchester United vs Chelsea – Manchester United Win (BTTS tip)

There you have it, there is my offering for the new season and as before I’ll give you a success rate on whether or not I can or can be trusted to impart any wisdom over the course of the next thirty-eight weeks, hold on to your hats we are going to be in for a bumpy ride.
