After the F.A. Cup hiatus that seemed almost akin to an international break it is now time to once again offer up my Premier League predictions as we return to top flight matters once more, we’re not quite at the business end of the season but we are getting closer to it. With that in mind here is what I think will happen over the course of the weekend.
Also keep in mind that Arsenal and Manchester City don’t play each other until March 1st but I will include that in this gameweek
Saturday
Leicester vs Stoke – Leicester Win
Brighton vs Swansea – Draw
Bournemouth vs Newcastle – Bournemouth Win
Burnley vs Southampton – Burnley Win
Liverpool vs West Ham – Liverpool Win
West Brom vs Huddersfield – West Brom Win
Watford vs Everton – Draw
Sunday
Crystal Palace vs Tottenham – Tottenham Win
Manchester United vs Chelsea – Draw
Next Thursday
Arsenal vs Manchester City – Manchester City Win
The biggest game of this weekend is obviously Manchester United vs Chelsea, both teams draw in the Champions League in midweek. That said Chelsea’s performance against Barcelona was much better than that of Jose Mourinho’s men against Sevilla.
The obvious sub plot here is the fact that Jose Mourinho will be going up against his former employers and he would love to get one over his old paymasters, however the fact that both Mourinho and Conte have been in something of a spat as of late in the press can certainly not be ignored.
Liverpool could go second for at least 24 hours should they get the better of West Ham on Saturday while Tottenham could move into the top four for at least a couple of hours should they get the better of Crystal Palace on Sunday lunchtime.
What do you think will happen? please leave your comments below. As always best of luck if you do follow these tips, place your bets now.
