There’s a midweek Premier League programme on the horizon and that means that the predictions are reviewed somewhat quicker than normal – to be honest I totally forgot that they had to be done, so with that in mind here we are. To be honest I don’t think this will make for very good reading.
Friday

Saturday
Crystal Palace vs Stoke – Crystal Palace Win YES
Manchester United vs Brighton – Manchester United Win YES
Newcastle vs Watford – Watford Win YES
Swansea vs Bournemouth – Bournemouth Win NO
Tottenham vs West Brom – Tottenham Win NO
Liverpool vs Chelsea – Liverpool Win NO
Sunday
Southampton vs Everton – Draw NO
Burnley vs Arsenal – Draw NO
Huddersfield vs Manchester City – Manchester City Win YES
Once again a below average 4 out of 10, cries of sack the board are ringing louder as it’s another below par offering in terms of predictions. Apologies if you have followed these in the past few weeks they would be better of going in the bin. Then again I’ve felt exactly the same after Tottenham’s results as of late – football as a whole can go in the bin.
What does that mean in terms of my ongoing strike rate? – I have picked 57 correct predictions out of 130 matches, that sits under 50% and by quite a bit. To be precise I’m at 43.8%, I’m not sure where it is going wrong this season. Last season it was consistent sixes and seven’s, this time around they are figures I can only dream of.
If I was to do some deeper analysis it would be interesting to see how many I would have got correct had it been a draw no bet prediction, but that is a bit of a cop out and to be honest I don’t really have the time to do that at present. Next raft of predictions to follow in a few hours.
