They will no doubt be frustrated that Daniel Sturridge has picked up another injury but with the Brazilian duo of Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino playing as they are lately he shouldn’t be missed all that much. They entertain a Swansea side who are in dire need of a win.
The Swans haven’t won since August when they beat Manchester United on Bank Holiday Weekend and more worrying the form of their man target man Bafetimbi Gomis has all but fallen off a cliff has he hasn’t since that United win.
The pressure is on Garry Monk to deliver results with the threat of the axe hovering over his head, we’re getting to that point of the season when Chairmen start to get a bit jittery and Huw Jenkins is reportedly one of those, could another defeat on Sunday spell the end of Monk’s reign in charge of Swansea.
Unfortunately for Monk I think Liverpool are going to push him closer to the exit door on Sunday as I can’t see past a home win for the Reds.
